Are you interested in joining an off-grid group, a homesteading community, or starting your own similar project? An intentional community? We’re here to help you connect with the people that you are looking for!
The key to it all is teaming up with the like-minded. Not dreamers, bless their hearts, but people who really want to live the way you do - and are serious enough to take action and make the effort. And there are many of those.
Remember though that this might take time, it is wise to be patient here. You don't want to hurry into the wrong situation when the right one can be found - or created.
We are already helping others with this. Our registry is designed to bring you together with your like minded people. You can connect with others who match your interests, learn about each other, and eventually form connections - one step at a time and especially, avoid detours down the wrong dirt road.
Here’s how it works:
If you:
- Have a community open to new members, or have land and want to get started
- Are wanting to find and join an existing group, or
- Want to start a new group, find your people and then find your place
Simply put yourself in the mix here. List yourself and your vision in our registry. And in time, hopefully get to know registered and verified people here that might be a good fit with you.
After you opt in and notify us that you have, we will send you a questionnaire to help us match you properly. And after you return your questionnaire, you're registered.
Note*(A small fee is required to opt in. It's needed to manage all this - and to help eliminate the unserious, the bots, phishers, scammers, etc. It's just 10 dollars per month)
At that point you're done! We'll take it from there and search for your matches.

For those who would like few more details first:
The questionnaire will help us match you with the right people based on your preferences, such as location (e.g., a warm place like Hawaii or Costa Rica, or a cooler area like Alaska or northern Ontario. We have no Aussies as of this writing but there are groups in Europe and Africa. There are groups in the region that works for you.
You will also be able to privately choose other factors that are a hard 'yes' or 'no' for you.
Wide open is ok! Or for some it might only be 'must love dogs.' But for others there may be other musts - about locations, yes, or religion, or vaccinations. For others ... well there are many possibilities. Only you know your own lines in the sand if you have any.
That screening process will prevent spending time on situations that just won't work.
Why Privacy and Screening Matter for Everyone
Here's an example: We are in ongoing touch with a group that is deep in an American forest, and five years into existence. They are doing well. In their 30's to 60's, plus children. They are planning, building, gardening, and thriving. Eventually, they do want more of you to join them from somewhere out there.
Just the same - as you can imagine - they can't have hundreds of new people just showing up all at once! So, privacy of their location and identities are essential.
Starting up takes time, and growing is a process.
The cross referencing through those questionnaires is essential. They help towards a clear understanding and a good fit for everyone.
Yes, people are doing this successfully! If you are serious and take actions, you can too.
