1. Start a Group or Find one

If you are serious about creating a community/group or joining an existing one let's get your started!  Making that offgrid/homesteading community your reality ( described here) is happening for others. It can happen for you too. 

Those who have done it know it can take time. Be findable and verified here!

Please note;

It's $10.00. Our opinion is that is a good way to keep out the vast majority of bots and fakers and so on.  If you really are serious but the 10.00 is an obstacle at this time write to kellyann@offgridcentral.org and we will have a conversation and probably work it out.

  • Before you dive in: Our 6 month term reflects a clear reality. It can be difficult to find the right fit. You must be patient and willing to give this at least that much time .
  • Re contact and turnaround:  We are a small group and very diligent about getting these right and we may also be in the middle of canning, or a fencing project, or something out on the acreage! So, please give us at least a day or two to respond always!

  • We are not some algorithm ... and we call our little group by a blend of names - KELLY ANN SWAN - and that will appear on your receipt.

  • We will renew all $10 sign ups for at least a second 6 month term at that same rate. 

2. Partner Matchups

If you are wanting to find a life partner based first on the kind of life you envision ... opt in to our screened matchups service (outlined here) and you're in the mix. Right now it is only $10/ 6 months!

We'll send your questionnaire - and after you've filled that out in anyway you wish, and you are in the mix! 

Site Memberships  

You don't need a membership here !  Unless...

The core of what we are trying to provide here will always be free and accessible to everyone. We hope to be helpful to a lot of people that way. And there is no need for membership to have access to the public information on this site.

 

That said, we do want to barricade the trolls, bots, scammers and the annoying craziness that happens on the internet.  So, for primarily those reasons - you will need to be a member for the following; 

  1. (screened and approved)  commenting - will be available on most pages.

    2.  Members will also be very welcome to submit public posts: your recipes, off grid stories, your tips for getting things done. Subject to approval and editing like any newspaper or magazine. Authors of those will be at screened to the public (shown as by username) ...  or entirely anonymous (your preference).

    3. And, we may send to members an occasional little update newsletter.

 ( Maximum twice per month - but when we're very busy with off grid chores - it might be less. )
